Purpose

These maps exist only to help the public see what open sources claim about selected conflict theaters — for general information and situational awareness (SA). They are not official intelligence, not a military command system, not a targeting tool, and not a life-safety or navigation product.

What “claims”, units, and territory mean

Claims — summaries of public reports or statements, plotted with approximate location and time. May be wrong, delayed, incomplete, one-sided, or propaganda.
Units — estimated positions from open sources. Approximate (area/city level), not targeting-grade, not confirmed.
Territory / holdings — coarse estimated fills for SA only. Estimated / Unverified. Not official confirmation of control or sovereignty.

Verification labels

Labels such as “verified source” or “official statement” mean a citation or a public official utterance exists. Citation ≠ confirmation of the underlying battlefield or maritime event.

Prohibited / unsuitable uses

Targeting, fire control, or weapons employment
Operational or tactical planning
Navigation under threat; personal safety or evacuation decisions
Insurance, financial, legal, emergency, or life-safety decisions
Harassment, doxxing, or endangering individuals

Independence & neutrality

Not affiliated with any government, military, or intelligence service. Plotting a claim does not endorse it or any military action. Both sides (and third parties) may appear.
